With couples around the world watching and waiting to see what their perfect day will entail, we have provided a short summary on all the latest from the UK.
Circuit Breaker for Northern Ireland.
A four-week long “Circuit Breaker” has now come into effect in Northern Ireland to curb the spread of COVID-19. From Friday 16th October 2020, all weddings will be reduced to a maximum of 25 people for both ceremony and reception. From Monday 19th October, wedding receptions will not be allowed to take place. Hospitality (apart from delivery and takeaway services) and close contact services have been also been asked to close.
Three Tier's
Unfortunately, we aren't talking about the three tier's on your wedding cake, although you can still have those!
From the 14th October 2020, weddings within areas identified as Tiers 1 and 2 are still able to take place (both ceremony and reception) under the current restrictions of 15 people maximum. If you are residing in a Tier 3 area, your wedding ceremony can still go ahead, but all receptions are prohibited.
