At the moment in England and Wales, only registrars and certain religious officials can perform legal marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. In Scotland and Northern Ireland, humanist celebrants are also authorised to conduct legally binding ceremonies.

Yes, this can be as simple as attending your local register office with two witnesses to sign on the dotted line. No vows, rings, etc. are required, these can all be saved for the big day.

Registrars are employed by the local authority and are authorised to conduct legally binding marriage and civil partnership ceremonies at licensed venues. They are also responsible for the administration of registering births, marriages and deaths.

A Civil Funeral Ceremony is about celebrating the life and personality of a loved one.
It often takes place at a crematorium or non religious burial site. Sometimes it is a memorial ceremony or burial of ashes after a funeral.

It is your choice how you wish the service to be, we can include hymns, prayers, readings and poems or anything else you would like to include.
With your help we will create a service most befitting of your departed loved one.
Do I have to hold the ceremony at the crematorium?
Do I have to have a ceremony at the crematorium?
No, though most people do. However, there are all sorts of options available to you. For example you might have just a few words with only close family at the crematorium or burial site and a memorial ceremony later. The beauty of our services is that it is completely flexible.

What are your professional fees for your services?
Our fees are based on a variety of factors, where the ceremony is to be held, for how long and the type of service. As an indication our fees for weddings and vow renewals start from £500 and naming ceremonies are from £300. Please contact us for quote.
