"I just wanted to say another many, many thanks for all your help and support before and during the funeral of my father yesterday.
German, like a few other European languages, has a word to describe you and the way you are, and that is 'sympathisch'. It doesn't really mean sympathetic, but brings in the idea of someone who is very pleasant, someone you can get along with immediately and someone you feel at ease with. So, the word describes you exactly.
The way you organised and held the ceremony was fantastic and a number of people said after the funeral what a lovely job you had done.
